Dear Friends and Fans,
During this extraordinary time, and shelter-in-place order until April 7 announced by our governor yesterday, you may not see us at the Wednesday Corte Madera or Saturday Marin Country Mart farmers markets for awhile. However, our team is hard at work to make sure you can still enjoy our granola delivered right to your door.
We plan to schedule a delivery run once a week on Wednesdays to our local customers starting next week. At our online store, you will see two new shipping / delivery options. Delivery is free for orders above $40 while a nominal fee of $3 for orders under $40. Please give specific delivery instructions during checkout. And see below / website / online store for the list of cities under our delivery coverage in Marin. We will continue to ship to our customers anywhere in the United States.

Given the uncertainties posed by the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to participate at the farmers markets responsibly for as long as deemed safe. We will continue to ship to our customers through our online shop without disruption.

In response to customers' feedback, and as part of our continuous improvement process using "Kaizen" methodology, we have eliminated the dark brown sugar from our recipe. No added sugar anymore! We only sweeten our granola with organic honey and organic maple syrup. Results from our taste tests show that our customers don't miss it at all and can't even taste the difference. We used very little brown sugar to start with. Enjoy!
During the recent Northern California's power outage, our facility in Muir Beach lost power for 4 days. We were not able to participate in Oct 30's Corte Madera market but we are back to normal schedule. Our loyal customers came to Thursday's San Rafael market Oct 31 Halloween day to get their granola. Special thanks to our online store customers who waited patiently to get their granola when we were able to ship again when post office re-opened. Starting this week till end of Oct, Chantelle's Granola will feature special Halloween packaging. Chantelle's Granola is available at the Mill Valley Market in downtown Mill Valley since July 17 2019. The 3 most popular flavors - Almond Cherry, Hazelnut Cranberry and Pecan Raisin in 1/2-pound bags are available in Aisle 2 of the market. You will see Sally demo'ing in front of the market regularly on Friday afternoons from 3-6pm. Our next demo will be Friday September 13 from 3pm to 6pm.
